An attempt to sell a large batch of drugs was stopped by police in Nizhny Novgorod. Employees of the PPSP regiment arrested a 30-year-old Nizhny Novgorod resident with a criminal record in one of the houses on Port Arthur Street, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in charge of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported. During a body search, it was discovered that the man had 17 packages and a bag containing the substance. Examination showed that one of the packages contained N-methylephedrone weighing more than 2 grams. The investigation agency also identified the coordinates of 13 hiding places equipped by the suspect in Leninsky district. Of these, 11 were seized and sent for research. A criminal case has been prosecuted for intentional large-scale illegal drug trafficking. The man has been arrested and an investigation is underway.
