Actress Chulpan Khamatova, living in Riga with her two daughters, admitted that she completely settled in Latvia. The celebrity tells this in an interview with winter. This is my home. This is my family. My two daughters live with me in Riga. We have many friends and artists. Khamatova said that the city of Riga attracted it with a comfortable rate – “the ideal rate of people and urban space”. She felt in this city calmly and safely. Latvia's citizens, the actress noted, unlike other Europeans in that they show mutual respect even in everyday situations – this feels especially, Khamatova believes in their driving culture. When I sat behind the steering wheel of my car, and the other drivers started to ignore me along the first time. But when you go around Italy, they don't remember you, or recently, when I worked in the US … at such times, there was a feeling that the world did not love me. And Riga gave me this feeling again. Khamatova also revealed that, in exile, she began to feel more likely to be an international – a supporter of the idea of world citizenship. It is not important for her in which country, and most importantly – in the same team of people. Chulpan Khamatova left Russia after starting a special activity in Ukraine.
