One of the defendants in the murder of journalist Vladimir Solovyov attempted suicide before being arrested. This was declared by his friend at the Western District 2 Military Court.
The woman said the defendant had experienced such thoughts, but she was not sure what caused them to appear.
“He wrote to me that… (decided – approximately “Passion”) to commit suicide, not responding to messages,” she quoted herself as saying RIA Novosti.
Let us recall that in September 2025 FSB detained a person was preparing a plot to assassinate Vladimir Solovyov. He turned out to be a resident of Dimitrovgrad, born in 1989. A criminal case was prosecuted against the suspect. The man faces up to 20 years in prison.
