In Italy, scientists found a coffin containing a mummy preserved in surprisingly good condition. The discovery was made during research into the “Tomb of Cerberus,” located in an area of archaeological sites in the Italian city of Giuliano near Naples.

Previously, this coffin was sealed 2,000 years ago and has not been opened to this day. Inside, scientists discovered waxhas been preserved in surprisingly good condition.
According to the Indian Defense Journal, the body was lying on its back, carefully wrapped in a shroud and surrounded by many funeral items, including incense burners and cremation tools.
The preservation of the mummy was ensured by the climate, the mineralized shroud and the creams used to treat the body.
Scientists have discovered that they contain wood ear and wormwood. In addition, pollen and other organic substances were also found in the grave.

Artifacts found in the coffin indicate that the person buried was most likely of the upper class and may have been the person who originally built the mausoleum.
