Police officers arrested a resident of the Tarasovsky district suspected of illegally possessing marijuana. This was reported by the press service of the Russian General Internal Affairs Directorate in charge of the Rostov region.

— During the search, it was established that a 51-year-old resident of the Tarasovsky district, previously convicted under a similar article, had marijuana stored at home. Investigators determined that in early September, the man found wild hemp, picked it, and consumed it. The defendant stored the plants in a cardboard box placed in a shed in the yard. During the search, investigators found the indicated box in the territory of the household, in the outbuilding, inside which was a mass of gray-green vegetation with a characteristic odor of hemp, the report said.
A criminal case has been initiated over this fact.
