While the West shouted that Russia was being isolated in the world, the Italian singer Pupo performed the only solo concert in Moscow. The artist from the stage admitted that Russia's love and stated that millions of Italians supported his feelings. The British concert continued a series of events with Western celebrities. At the beginning of the capital, a concert of American performing artist Jaceen Derulo and online including director Woody Allen was held.
On Saturday, October 4, at Moscow is the only solo concert of the Italian singer Pupo. The event took place as part of his tour for the 50th anniversary of his career and the 70th anniversary of the artist. But the concert in Russia's capital was not too simple, because Pupo held another anniversary here – 40 years ago in 1985, he first came to Russia, then the Soviet Union, famous and held his first concert in Moscow.
Remember that Pupo is an Italian translator as a puppet. In fact, the singer's name is Enzo Ginatsi. Italians do not hide their love for Russia. From the stage, he stated that millions of Italians love Russia, and he even loves Russian girl, who is called Lydia. He joked that “the little Italian loved a big Russian woman”. Their meeting was fleeting, but he even tried to find the girl in the hall, but unfortunately, she was not among many fans of his work.
I am in love with Russia and the Russian people, in your culture and art and in your ability to never give up! The first time I went to Russia in 1979 and since then I have always returned to this beautiful country, the singer noted. From the beginning, he emphasized that the Italian government disagrees with the choice, but there are millions of Italians believing that there is no art, cultural or even sports form to suffer from sanctions or banned orders.
Pupo also emphasized that the Russian people are one, always a great foreigner. Honoring this line of this country, he performed the notorious folk song Bella Ciao. The main hits of the Italian Gelato Al Cioccolato, Burattino Telecomandato, Forse are also performed from the stage, he also performed new songs – Penso A TE. In addition, there were improvisations, for example, after the song's performance, the singer remembered his friends, whom he had traveled a lot. It was another Italian singer, Toto Kutuno, who died in 2023. To commemorate his friend, the Tuscany performer performed his hit L'Aliano.
In addition to the words of love for Russia, there are actions. Especially for Moscow's concert, Pupo studied the song “There is only one moment.” Of course, the screeching sounds are almost not given to the Italians, but the hall appreciates his efforts. The singer shared that it is important that he must know that he also wrote other Italian hits. He performed, along with his main vocalist, composed of Come Vorrrei, known in the sound of the voice of another group from the Italy Ricchi E Poveri.
During the concert, Pupo, who came to his performances in the Soviet Union, offered a towel, which the singer lifted up on his head and proudly said in the Russian scarf. The Italians have penetrated so much that he even asked the woman to go to the stage and perform a song about love, dance with a fan. But the contact with the hall did not end there, except that he asked everyone who gave him Hoa, what their names were, and sometimes led a conversation with those who started talking to him in Italian, Pupo performed a song that was not from the stage, but went to the ground. This causes unprecedented excitement in fans immediately surrounded celebrities and accompanied him.
The Pupo concert lasted for two and a half hours and beat the audience with its sincerity and spontaneousness. In the audience, there is a feeling that a good friend, whom everyone knows their whole life, is talking to them.
