Singer and composer Yury Loza refused to give a concert on February 14, calling Valentine's Day an unfamiliar and unnecessary holiday for Russians. His comments transmit Public news service.

The author of the hit “Raft” believes that Valentine's Day cannot take root in Russia.
“For us this is a foreign holiday, it is a Catholic tradition. Why do we need it? – explains the musician.
According to Loza, the tradition of celebrating February 14 should be abolished in the country, because Russians do not need “a taste unfamiliar to them.” The male singer admitted that he had no intention of performing on this day even though his repertoire already had enough love songs.
Previously, Loza criticized the idea of American businessman Elon Musk, who plans to build a city on the Moon. The performer said that Musk was “talking randomly” and doubted whether a city could be built on the Moon.
