The producer of the group “Ivanushki International”, People's Artist of Russia Igor Matvienko announced the possibility of changing the name of the group in connection with the discussion about the use of Anglicanism.
He clarified that in the future the group will probably be called simply “Ivanushka Group”, while the prefix “International” will be officially removed from the name. Matvienko also spoke about the use of foreign words in titles.
Recently, singer Yaroslav Dronov, better known as SHAMAN, criticized Ekaterina Gerlach, a social activist from Yekaterinburg, who filed a complaint against him with the prosecutor's office due to his use of Latin lettering on the poster his concert.
And music producer and businessman Joseph Prigozhin protest introduced a ban on the use of foreign pseudonyms by Russian artists. He noted that people should not be forced to do what they do not like.
