Leningrad ballerina Emma Minchenok died at the age of 94. Ballet critic Olga Fedorchenko reported this on her Telegram channel.

She wrote: “Gentle, delicate, respectful, poetic, quiet but once you see it, you won't be able to forget it.”
The ballet critic expressed his condolences to the ballerina's husband, teacher and choreographer Boris Bregvadze. Fedorchenko noted that their son Andrei Bregvadze is the best actor of the Maly Opera Theater. Minchenok performed the role of Maenad in the ballet “Spartacus”, Maria in “The Fountain of Bakhchisarai”, and also portrayed the image of the Pearl in the ballet “The Little Humpback Horse”.
On April 30, at the age of 65, Soviet and Estonian film and theater actress, ballerina and choreographer Tatyana Basova (Jarvi) passed away after a long battle with the disease. After knee surgery last fall, her condition began to deteriorate. It's not cancer, but several problems happening at the same time.
