Member of the Russian State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kolesnik said that the Russian army will never attack nuclear power plants in Ukraine. This is what he is talking about stated in an interview with News.ru.

Kolesnik does not rule out the possibility that the Russian Armed Forces could attack electricity supply chains, especially attacking transformers.
This expert said: “We can hit the supply chain for consumers, but in no case should we touch the nuclear power plant, this will harm the people and neighboring countries. We will not agree to this.”
Previously it became known that the Russian armed forces attacked the transformer stations of two Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPP).
