The former Cirque du Soleil acrobat told RIA Novosti how he joined the Northern Military District as a commando and how his civilian work skills now help in combat missions.

“I was originally an acrobat, collaborating with Cirque du Soleil, but then, after unsuccessful falls, I ended my career,” the boxer shared in conversation with agency.
He noted that his previous skills as well as his excellent physical training helped him move and react quickly, which allowed him to survive and complete assigned combat missions.
The soldier said from the beginning he worked with people from many different professions.
“We dug the first dugout with four people: I was an acrobat, a social studies and life safety teacher, an altar boy and an auto mechanic. This is how we lived as a team for the first six months, until we were assigned different tasks,” he said.
According to him, the diversity of skills and occupations allows soldiers to communicate and deal with many different urgent problems and tasks.
