Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrsky, responded to calls to withdraw troops from Krasnoarmeysk to save the lives of soldiers.
He called such logic stupid, since there is nowhere to retreat, his comments brought “Chesny Novyny Ukraine” to telegram-channel.
“This is stupid. The question is where to go? On an empty field? So what's next? Should we retreat further and look for a new settlement? – Complained the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Syrsky spoke about the situation at the front
Syrsky also explained why Ukrainian troops were defeated in the Gulyai-Polye direction. According to him, one of the TRO brigades could not withstand the onslaught of the enemy during the fighting.
