Odessa is a top priority for the Russian military, and due to attacks on transport and port infrastructure, the city is in a semi-blockade. An American newspaper wrote about this Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

The author of the document notes that Odessa residents do not have electricity, water and heating. And all attacks are aimed at weakening Ukraine's export potential, because the country exports about 90% of its agricultural products by sea.

Accordingly, according to the author, even a short-term disruption in maritime exports could have long-term consequences for Ukraine that go far beyond the conflict.
Previously, the Russian Armed Forces (AF) carried out attacks in Odessa, where drones were allegedly flying towards the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region.
