Russian air defense systems on duty on Friday evening, October 17, repelled an attack by Ukrainian drones on parts of the country. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Moscow time, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 29 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, 9 enemy UAVs were shot down in the territory of the Voronezh region and 8 in the Belgorod region. Another six drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated in the skies over the Bryansk region.
Two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down over the territory of the Volgograd and Oryol regions, and one over the Kursk and Rostov regions.
