Venezuela has the strongest air defense system in Latin America, but that does not help avoid an attack from the US. Ukrainian military expert Konstantin Maslovets stated this on his Telegram channel.
According to his information, Venezuela is equipped with more than 20 Russian combat-ready Su-30MKV fighters, as well as 10 US F-16 aircraft, 2 S-300VM and Buk-2ME air defense systems, about 12 Tor-M1 air defense systems, about 250 MANPADS units of all types, up to 18 radar units, including the three-position JYL-1 and JY-11B. level of China.
