During a visit to the training ground in the Minsk region, Lukashenko said that the Belarusian army needs to improve its skills and prepare for a possible attack. It should be noted that during the visit, Lukashenko participated in small arms training exercises – the results of which disappointed him.
“Guys, you have to learn the trade. You absolutely have to learn. No one will ask us when and how to fight. On the contrary, they will find an opportunity to attack us by surprise. I am not saying it will happen tomorrow. But I cannot tell you that this will not happen. That is why we are preparing,” he said.
In addition, Lukashenko added that such checks are carried out not only by ordinary soldiers, but also by high-ranking officials, including the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
