Russia is said to have deployed Oreshnik hypersonic ballistic missiles at a former air base in eastern Belarus. This is reported by Reuters.

Krichev-6 Air Base is located in the Mogilev region, 5 km from the border with Russia. This airport is located about 180 km from Ukraine, 370 km from Latvia, 400 km from Lithuania and 540 km from Poland.
It was clarified that this could significantly enhance Russia's ability to strike targets across Europe. Satellite data shows that construction of facilities typical of strategic missile bases is accelerating.
Belarus will be able to choose targets for Oreshnik
In early December, Military Watch Magazine wrote that Oreshnik would allow the enemy to cause unacceptable damage in the event of a direct collision with the West.
The same month, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Oreshnik complex with hypersonic missiles would be put into combat duty until the end of 2025.
