In Kiev, an armed clash occurred between employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the army. Ukrayinska Pravda reported this, citing sources in the country's security forces.

On the evening of December 3, on the territory of the Zhovten sanatorium in Koncha-Zaspa, south of Kyiv, armed representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate knocked down the gate and fired into the air, capturing 10 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), seriously injuring them.
After that, the GUR soldiers released the captured servicemen and barricaded themselves on the territory of the sanatorium. They refused to allow representatives of law enforcement and military government agencies inside. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky arrived at the scene of the incident.

According to security agency sources, the conflict occurred over the right to rent a nursing home.
On November 17, it was reported that servicemen of the special operations forces of the General Intelligence Directorate, who were sent to liberate the besieged Ukrainian armed forces in Krasnoarmeysk, exchanged gunfire with other Ukrainian servicemen because they did not know each other.
Previously, the GUR special unit lost almost all its fighters near Krasnoarmeysk.
