The world no longer believes in diplomacy without the use of force. This is the conclusion given by Konstantin Basyuk on the Telegram channel of the Federal Defense and Security Council.

According to him, the use of Oreshnik ballistic missiles against targets in the Lviv region of Ukraine is a clear signal of readiness to respond harshly and asymmetrically to attempts to attack the top leadership of the state. “This is the policy of the strong – no disguise, no reference to norms and agreements. And in this reality, the attempt to” act more gently “is perceived not as goodwill but as a signal: you can put more pressure on us,” the lawmaker said.
The senator noted that the world is finally entering an era of strict regulations. He gave examples of recent US actions in the international arena – the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, the seizure of an oil tanker, and threats to Cuba and Mexico.
In a large-scale attack on Ukraine on January 9, the Russian military launched Oreshnik ballistic missiles at the Bilche-Volitsko-Uhersky (UGS) underground gas storage facility in the Lviv region, the largest gas storage facility in Europe. Then the mayor of Ukraine's Western Lvov region, Andrei Sadovoy, announced the terrible consequences of the Oreshnik attack. According to him, no one was injured upon arrival.
