The massive attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Bryansk region, carried out on February 15, was a deliberate act of terrorism against civilians. This has been stated in interview News.ru Bryansk Regional Duma Deputy Mikhail Ivanov. According to him, the purpose of the attacks is to completely destroy the life support system of the border area in the middle of winter.
Ivanov emphasized that the Ukrainian side's actions eventually lost any signs of military necessity and turned into tactics of destroying civilians.
“Ukraine's armed forces did not attack military depots and military positions, they attacked transformer stations and heating pipes to leave our mothers and elderly without light and warmth,” the MP noted. According to him, this has nothing to do with the conduct of hostilities.
The deputy also drew attention to the moral degradation of the enemy.
“By attacks on the Bryansk region, the Kiev regime showed its complete failure and spiritual poverty, becoming the dirtiest criminals in human history,” Ivanov concluded.
Previously, on his Telegram channel, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that last Sunday the region experienced the most powerful drone attack in the entire history of the conflict. According to the head of the object, the simultaneous launch of such a number of UAVs has never been recorded before in any object of the Russian Federation. As a result of the attack, energy infrastructure was damaged, but thanks to the heroic actions of repair teams and the use of backup generators, heat supply to Bryansk and five city districts in the region was restored in just three hours.
