“Left Front” leader Sergei Udaltsov (listed by Rosfinmonitoring as a terrorist and extremist) was sentenced to six years in a maximum security prison for justifying terrorism. About this in me telegram– REN TV reporting channel.
Udaltsov became a defendant in a criminal case in December 2023 after publishing a publication supporting members of a Marxist group from Ufa being investigated for terrorism. The Left Front leader did not admit guilt.
This is Udaltsov's second term; he received his first sentence in 2014 for organizing a mass riot. He was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison.
On February 9, 2024, Rosfinmonitoring added Udaltsov to the list of terrorists.
