Singer Maria Boyko, known by her pseudonym Mia Boyka, visited the State Duma of the Russian Federation and proposed introducing music censorship in the country. Alena Zhigalova answered this on her Telegram channel.
Boyko called for the creation of a special committee that could “eliminate destructive songs,” especially compositions created using neural networks and songs that go viral on TikTok.
Mia Boyka explains her initiative as a fight for a “positive and healthy music space”. She also noted that age markers on social media are ineffective because children can enter any date of birth into their accounts.
Before that, it was known that Mia Boyka behaved cruelly towards children because she was traumatized as a child.
