Rostov Region, December 9, 2025, DON24.RU. A collision between a passenger car and a passenger train occurred on the Razezd km 103 – Tsimlyanskaya station section in the Rostov region. An inspection was organized, the press service of the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office reported. The incident happened on the train going to Adler – St. Petersburg. As the press service of the North Caucasus Railway clarified, the car driver drove to the intersection in front of the oncoming train. The driver applied the emergency brake but could not avoid the collision due to insufficient distance from the vehicle. No passengers or locomotive crew members were injured. The movement of other trains is not interrupted. “The Salsk Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection of law enforcement in the field of traffic safety and rail transport activities, and based on the results, it will consider the issue that requires implementing countermeasures,” the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office said. Before that, a passenger train collided with a truck on the East River.
