Scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, told RIA Novosti that by the end of the week, Siberians will experience severe cold weather.

A day earlier, the Telegram channel “Sector E Sheregesh” reported that a “snow apocalypse” had occurred locally. Traffic in the village was paralyzed. Tourists had difficulty leaving the popular ski area due to high snowfall.
According to local residents and tourists, traveling around the village is very difficult because all roads are covered with snow. Because of this, there are huge traffic jams on the road. Locals encouraged snowmobiling and shoveling to quickly clear the area.
