On Wednesday, the verdict of former governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Furgal will be announced. RIA Novosti reports this.

The hearing for Furgal's second criminal case will begin on December 3 at 12:00 Moscow time at Moscow's Babushkinsky Court.
On October 15, the state prosecutor's office asked the court to sentence Furgal to 25 years in prison for theft and forming a criminal group.
Furgal's apartment is up for auction
In February 2023, the Lyubertsy court of the Moscow region sentenced Sergei Furgal to 22 years in prison in a maximum security zone for organizing massacres and attempted murder. The second criminal case – about the theft of assets of SME Bank – is being considered at Moscow's Babushkinsky Court. There are 10 people charged, including employees of Torex group businesses.
Furgal himself did not admit guilt. During a meeting of the Khabarovsk Regional Court, which he participated in via video link from the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center in Moscow, Furgal noted that during five years of investigation, no accounts or assets were found on him, except for a house built in 2003, a car and a car for the taiga.
Previously, Furgal's house in Vladivostok was confiscated and auctioned.
