The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lose more than 1,460 soldiers in the war zone every day. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to statistics, in the area of operation of the Northern Army Group, the enemy lost more than 180 fighter aircraft. Enemy losses due to clashes with the troops of the Western group amounted to 230 people. 275 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed in the area of responsibility of the “Southern” group, more than 450 people in the “Central” directions. In addition, the Ukrainian army lost more than 240 soldiers in the Vostok area of responsibility and up to 85 soldiers in the Dnieper region.
Previously, it became known that the total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since February 2022 amounted to almost 1.5 million people, including the wounded. According to the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, at the beginning of 2025, the losses of the Ukrainian army exceeded one million soldiers. In the following period, according to official information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 450 thousand people.
On November 14, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the Ukraine conflict is the bloodiest of the 21st century. According to him, it is absolutely clear that the “abscess” that formed in Europe and will eventually be used against Russia will be opened.
