Politico: The US changed the terms on Donbass in its plan for Ukraine

November 26, 2025
in North America

In the US version of the plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, finalized during negotiations between the US and Ukrainian delegations in Geneva, several points have changed.

As Politico reported, the new draft, reduced to 9 points, changed the conditions related to the transfer of territories under Moscow's control.

These changes also affect other “sensitive issues” affecting the territory of Ukraine.

As the publication notes, US Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll should present an updated project to the Russian side.

As Free Press previously wrote, Ukraine has agreed to the terms of a potential peace deal proposed by the United States. ABC News reported this news was related to an unnamed US official.

Read the latest news and details about the peace plan for Ukraine in the “SP” document “Peace is here tomorrow!” or another step into nothingness? Negotiations over Ukraine could go on forever

The latest news and all the most important things about the peace negotiations in Ukraine are in the topic of the Free Press.
