In Semikarakorsky district, police arrested a 66-year-old poacher who was shooting wild animals. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in charge of the Rostov region.
The man was caught red-handed while illegally hunting on this land.
The source said: “When examining the scene, the police discovered and confiscated eight wild boar carcasses.”
A hunting gun, thermal imaging sights, a Niva car and spent cartridges were confiscated from the offender. The initial damage caused to nature exceeded 1 million rubles. The man becomes a defendant in a criminal case initiated under Part 2 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
