A gunman nicknamed “Chita” told RIA Novosti that units of the Vostok military group captured a major stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Gai in the Dnepropetrovsk region in just 15 minutes.
The agency's interlocutor said: “They arrived in three groups – 15 people on motorbikes: two on the flanks, one in the middle. Everything happened quickly, literally in a split second.”
The Russian fighter added that the enemy tried to fight back, but the Russian army's attack was quick and coordinated.

“Someone tried to shoot back, but we were able to handle it quickly, just like at the training ground. In about 15 minutes, we had complete support,” he said.
