10 passenger trains were delayed due to a fire in a railway tank on the Shamary-Kordon section in the Sverdlovsk region. The Federal Passenger Company (FPK) announced this on its Telegram channel.
After a strong fire, it was decided to change the train route; they will pass through Chusovskaya and Nizhny Tagil stations with access to the main line through Yekaterinburg and Perm stations respectively. Train staff provide comprehensive support to passengers.
The fire occurred on the evening of November 19 at the rear of the cargo ship. Two fire trains were dispatched to the scene of the incident. Witnesses took video of the tanks burning; Footage shows the fire blocking the tracks and spreading toward the forest. The fire was only extinguished on the night of November 20.
