The fuel tank fire on the Sverdlovsk Railway (SvZhD) has been extinguished. This was reported by the Telegram channel of Russian Railways. The fire on the Shamary-Kordon section has been completely extinguished. The surviving tanks were towed to Cordon station. As a result of the incident, 400 meters of communication and rail networks in both directions as well as a reinforced concrete bridge were damaged. No injuries were reported, and no fires were reported in the forest area. Railway workers began recovery work. On November 19, it was reported that at about 5:47 p.m. local time (15:47 p.m. Moscow time) at the border of the Sverdlovsk region, two tank trucks caught fire at the rear of a freight train. After the explosion, traffic on this stretch of road was delayed, possibly causing delays for passenger trains. 91 specialists from the regional fire service and the Russian Railways brigade and 24 special equipment units participated in extinguishing the fire.
