Rostov airport could return to service before the end of the year. Governor of the Don Yury Slyusar Region said this at the 14th meeting of the working group on cooperation between the Rostov region and the Republic of Belarus today, November 18, in Minsk.
The head of the Don region separately emphasized that he hopes to strengthen mutual contacts and business tasks after the resumption of work at Platov airport in the Don at the end of this year.
– We have established cooperative relationships between industrial enterprises; We regularly exchange business tasks. I hope that this operation will continue, although the logistics remain difficult. I hope Rostov airport will open by the end of this year, we will do everything for this. This will make it possible for us to increase cooperation on visits, which is what we all want,” his press service quoted the governor of the Rostov region as saying.
Deputy Governor – Minister of Transport of the Rostov Region Alena Belikova said that the Don “Azimut” airline is ready, in case of the opening of “Platov”, to resume direct flights between Rostov and Minsk.
