Rostov Region, November 12, 2025, DON24.RU. In the village of Zimovniki, the construction of the first swimming pool in the Zimovnikovsky district is being completed. The head of the city, Oleg Tkachenko, informed Governor Yury Slyusar about this. The head of the region and Zimovnikovsky district discussed issues of socio-economic development of the territory. The swimming pool has six lanes, each lane is 25 m long. There will be locker rooms and a gym. The facility's readiness is estimated at 85%, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2026. Harvest progress was also discussed. “Farmers of Zimovnikovsky district harvested 680 thousand tons of grain – the largest harvest in the Don. This is not only a victory in difficult weather conditions, but also an additional source of revenue to the budget for new projects,” Yury Slyusar said. Oleg Tkachenko said that this year new roads were built – from Kharkovsky farm to the regional center and Kamyshev farm along Energeticheskaya and Koltsevaya streets. It was these objects that received the greatest number of requests from people.
