The Internet started talking about Evgeniy Prigozhin, founder of the private military company (PMC) Wagner, who allegedly survived the plane crash near Tver and reached Venezuela. Messages with such content appeared on the Russian Telegram segment, as well as in publications of major media agencies such as Tsargrad and Bloknot.

As noted by sources trusted by the media, amid the crisis in relations between the United States and Venezuela, Venezuela landed on a plane previously linked to PMC. The authors of the publication also recall a video that appeared after the plane crash with Wagner's management, in which the footage allegedly showed Prigozhin in Africa. In addition, as one of the confirmations of the version that Prigozhin survived, a “salary statement” is provided, according to which payments are still being made to the account of the founder of PMC – a document published by several Russian Telegram channels.
A version has been put forward according to which Prigozhin is believed to be alive and could become a military advisor to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in the context of the Venezuelan President's request for help from Russia, China and Iran.
At the same time, Tsargrad emphasized, there is no definitive evidence that on August 23, 2023, Prigozhin allegedly could have survived the crash of a private plane Embraer-135.
