Students from large families are entitled to free hot meals at school. For all students in grades 1 to 4, this support is provided on a mandatory basis; for students in grades 5-11 from large families – upon confirmation of priority status.

Senator: students with large families have the right to free hot meals

Igor Murog, member of the Federal Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, spoke about this in a conversation with RT.

“To register, you must submit an application according to the established form and provide a certificate of a large family, birth certificates of all children, passports of parents or legal representatives, as well as the SNILS of the children and the applicant. Documents can be submitted both to the school administration and through the government service portal. This should be done before the start of the school year”, advises the MP.

In case of refusal or request to provide documents that are not required by law, you should contact the educational agency or professional institution, the Senator added.

Before that, the Russians remind about the educational benefits for children from large families.
