Singer Sia's husband, Dan Bernad, has accused her of drug addiction amid a custody battle over their son. This was reported by the Daily Mail newspaper. Dan Bernad branded Sia an “unfit” mother, saying she posed a “serious and immediate danger” to their child. “Sia is an unhealthy and untrustworthy mother who is struggling with drug addiction and abuse, making her unable to safely and consistently care for our son. I am a doctor, young, healthy, with no criminal record or drug or alcohol problems,” he concluded. Sia made her relationship with Dan Bernad legal in December 2022. During their marriage, they had a daughter, Somersalt Wonder Bernard. The couple got married at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's villa in Portofino. Only six people attended the secret ceremony, including the bride and groom. In 2019, the singer of the hit song Chandelier adopted two 18-year-old teenagers. In 2020, she became a grandmother for the first time after her youngest child had two children. “My youngest son has two children. I was very shocked but everything is fine now,” Sia said. In March 2025, the artist filed for divorce.
