During 9 months of 2025, at Russian stations, passengers downloaded about 3.5 thousand terabytes of Internet traffic to their devices. This number is 59% higher than the same period last year. This was reported by the press service of the North Caucasus Railway.

– Free Wi-Fi is most popular among passengers at Moscow's Vostochny train station (56 TB). Next are three stations of the North Caucasus Railway – Rostov-on-Don (53 TB), Krasnodar-1 (52 TB) and Adler (48 TB), the report said.
In total, passengers and station visitors used the service 8.5 million times (+49%). Usually, users check schedules, build routes, communicate on social networks, watch videos, listen to music and call taxis.
