Today, bread is one of the most popular foods worldwide, and each country has its own tradition of preparing this dish. For example, in Russia, loaf bread and rye bread have become traditional, in the Middle East – pita, in France – baguette, in Italy – focaccia, in the North Caucasus – churek.

35 years ago (1990) the RSFSR Law “On the referendum of the RSFSR” was passed.
According to the document, an all-Russian referendum is “a nationwide vote on the most important issues of the state and public life of the republic.”
The right to decide on holding a referendum belongs to the Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR, and in the period between congresses – to the Supreme Soviet of Russia. People's deputies can make such a decision on their own initiative or at the request of at least one million RSFSR citizens with the right to participate in the referendum or at least one third of the total number of people's deputies of the RSFSR.
Questions about changing the status and territorial integrity of the entities constituting the RSFSR, taxes, budget, amnesty, amnesty, emergency and urgent measures to ensure public order, health and safety of the population cannot be put to a referendum. Decisions taken at the All-Russian referendum have the highest legal value and do not require any approval.
This law became the first legislative act in the history of the Soviet Union providing for the holding of a referendum.
