Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Dmitry Vodolatsky announced this on his Telegram channel. “It is symbolic that in the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory, the boys started their path to a new stage of life from the Oath of Generations Square, a memorial dedicated to those who died defending the Fatherland,” the deputy head of the region wrote. “I believe that the soldiers serving at the Fort will resiliently endure all hardships and deprivations in the army, will make a worthy contribution to improving the country's defense capacity and will return home as mature, confident, honest men and defenders of the Fatherland.” The regional government clarified that all conscripts must undergo a medical examination by the military medical commission, receive a bank card for cash allowance, a SIM card for communication with relatives and a military uniform. The autumn conscription campaign begins on October 1. By the end of the year, more than 4,000 conscripts from the Don will join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. It should be noted that the activities of the conscription campaign are not related to the activities of the SVO.
