RIO DE JANEIRO, October 13. . Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva believes that achieving peace in the Gaza Strip will create an opportunity to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
“It's time to think about how to resolve the issue of the war between Russia and Ukraine,” the Brazilian leader noted during a press conference in Rome. According to him, achieving a peaceful solution in Ukraine is possible, but it is a difficult task. The President said: “I think the whole world is tired of it (conflict – notes by). It turns out that the warring parties themselves are also very difficult.”
In September, at a meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session, Lula da Silva told Vladimir Zelensky that achieving peace in Ukraine was possible only through an early start to negotiations.
