The police of the Oryol district received an application for stealing money from a bank account. A locals said he was a victim of scammers. Police discovered that the scam had contacted the man through the messenger. The attacker suggested buying a gasoline generator on an Internet website. This has been reported by the press service of the General Department of the Russian Ministry of Home Affairs in the Rostov area.
– The attacker sent a link, moving on which the victim entered his bank card data. According to unknown things, when local residents are gullible in these cards, he will immediately receive money for goods from buyers online. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a lie. Having access to the bank's personal account, the attacker has carried out two money transfer activities with the amount of 4,700 rubles and 5,300 rubles. Therefore, the total number of damage is up to 10 thousand rubles, the report said.
