The Federal Air Transport Agency has classified the collision of An-2 aircraft to the ground during working as a disaster. The incident will be investigated by the Southern MTU of the Federal Aviation Agency and the Federal Aviation Commission (Mac), the Ministry's press services.

“Today, September 9, in the Farzor Farzovs area of the Volgododky district of the Rostov area, An-2 aircraft (registered to 33675), in aviation work, collided with the ground.
The investigation of the incident will be carried out in accordance with the rules of aviation accidents and incidents with civil plane in the Russian Federation. The Federal Air Transport Agency emphasizes that the main goal is to establish the cause of what happened and prevent future incidents.
