The launch of the Honorary Artist of the Russian Nikolai Roshchin Federation, based on the play of British playwright William Shakespeare, will be held on the main stage of the Moscow Drama Theater named after AS Pushkin. This has been reported by the theater's press service.
Shakespearean regained Storm, first assigned in 1611 – it was considered one of the last works of the playwright: The writer passed away four years later, in 1615. The center of the plot was the Duke of Milan. Pursuing the goal of restoring justice, using magic, he planned to take revenge on his brother, who expelled him with his daughter from Milan. Prospero caused a storm, reflected in the title of the play.
About the play Roshchin
“Storm” is the most mysterious work of William Shakespeare. Indeed, it is believed that this is his last play, a certain will. Nikolai Roshchin – director in this sense is very original. A free author and, of course, is an artist. Therefore, within the typhoons of the Viking two performances took place. One is quite classic, based on Shakespeare's play. The second is a great modern explanation of this text by Nikolai Roshchin. And somewhere they even went into the conflict, the honorary artist of the Russian Federation Evgeny Pisarev, art director of the theater, noted in an interview with reporters.
However, those who create performance do not disclose the features of the director's approach to Shakespeare's text. Along with Roshchin, artist Ivan Vinogradov, a designer of Ekaterina Koptyaeva costume, works on Islamic storm. In addition, the director acts as a video artist, artist -scena and -along with Mikhail Smirnov -a playwright.
Continuing a conversation about Islamic storm, Pisarev noted that this play was quite difficult to set up, it took a lot of time, including his training sessions. Therefore, the premiere of the “storm” was planned in May 2025, but the programs were postponed – the production was completed. In the summer, we were able to complete everything – and tomorrow we were waiting for the audience in our hall, the art director shared.
Interestingly, artificial intelligence has been used in the work on Storm Storm: a screen installed on stage, displaying a series of photos and videos created with nerve networks. All of this, of course, requires more time and work. And that's why we are not ready to show the production of the audience in May and, as planned, in July, Mr. Pisarev explained.
