Yamal Airlines flight from Novy Urengoy to Domodedovo made an emergency landing in Tyumen due to non-standard operation of mechanized components on the wings. This was reported by the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office.
“On February 24, 2026, the crew of a Yamal Airlines aircraft, while performing a scheduled flight YC-89 on the Novy Urengoy – Domodedovo route, after takeoff reported non-standard operation of the wing motorized units. To ensure safety, the crew decided to proceed to the alternative airport in the city of Tyumen (Roshchino). At 20:20 (18:20 hours Moscow) landed at Roshchino.” The airport is proceeding as normal,” the statement said.
The Tyumen Transport Prosecutor's Office supervises the provision of necessary services to passengers, the Novy Urengoy Transport Prosecutor's Office carries out supervisory measures to ensure compliance with flight safety standards.
