The next round of negotiations to resolve the Ukraine crisis will take place on February 17-18. The meeting is planned in a trilateral format: representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the United States will participate. The Russian negotiating team is led by Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky.
The first two rounds of tripartite consultations took place in Abu Dhabi: January 23-24 and February 4-5.
Previously, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov statedthat Geneva was chosen as the location for the next round of negotiations because this option was considered practical and convenient for all parties.
