Governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, who is recovering from a car accident and operations, said he only moves with the help of auxiliary aids. RIA Novosti writes about this.

For the first time after the accident, the governor participated in a meeting of the regional government, held via video link from home.
“Today, together with the SDGs, each district (necessary – editor's note) should be done manually. I would go out with you myself, but unfortunately, for now I can only walk with the support of improvised vehicles,” the head of the region said in an operational meeting broadcast online.
At the end of the meeting, Khinshtein expressed gratitude to all residents who sent wishes for a quick recovery, noting that their support is the best motivation for recovery.
On January 22, Alexander Khinshtein reported a traffic accident that happened to him during a business trip to one of the districts in the region. After the accident, the governor was hospitalized and had surgery; he broke his femur and three ribs. Currently, Khinshtein continues his treatment at home, where one of the rooms is specially equipped as a medical hospital.
