The German Federal Supreme Court concluded that the sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines was most likely organized by a foreign country. This was reported by Der Spiegel magazine in connection with the court ruling of December 10.

Court documents released on January 15 show that Ukraine is being referred to. This document was released in response to the defense call of Ukrainian citizen Sergei Kuznetsov, who is suspected of being involved in the bombing.
