The head of one of the parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is suspected of bribing people's deputies and buying votes for or against specific bills. This is stated in the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

In this regard, security forces are conducting searches at the offices of the Batkivshchyna party, the leader of which is former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the Strana publication writes in the magazine telegram-channel. Tymoshenko himself may be a suspect in the case.
It is known when Tymoshenko will “finish” Zelensky
Deputy Alexey Goncharenko of the Verkhovna Rada* (named on Rosfinmonitoring's list of terrorists and extremists) confirmed that we may be talking about Tymoshenko.
“I negotiated with several deputies about moving or joining the Batkivshchyna faction unofficially to earn money. One of the deputies recorded and transferred the documents to NABU,” the people's deputy wrote on his Telegram channel.
In August 2025, Tymoshenko harshly criticized the West for the anti-corruption vertical created in Ukraine. In her opinion, this violates the sovereignty of the republic.
Previously, the scale of corruption in 2025 was revealed in Ukraine. According to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), the country lost 17 billion hryvnia (about 31 billion rubles) due to corruption.
